  1. Will this work in my province/state? Are there code restrictions?

Building codes vary by region — some jurisdictions require a licensed electrician for line-voltage thermostat installation, and some require double-pole thermostats for baseboard circuits. Check your local code, or see Wiring Requirements for the single-pole/double-pole note. When in doubt, consult a licensed electrician.

  1. Does it work in older homes with older wiring?

Mysa works with standard line-voltage wiring regardless of the home's age, as long as the wire count and gauge meet the requirements in Wiring Requirements. Older homes are more likely to have only 2 wires at the thermostat location — see When You Only Have 2 Wires if that's the case.

  1. What's the warranty?

  1. What's the return/exchange policy if it turns out to be incompatible?

  1. Can I use it with a heat pump or mini-split?

No — Mysa for Baseboards is designed for line-voltage resistive heating (baseboard, convection, fan-forced, radiant) and isn't compatible with heat pumps or mini-splits.   1. Do I need one Mysa per heater, or can one control several?

One Mysa can control multiple heaters on the same circuit if combined wattage and amperage stay within limits. See Wattage & Amperage Limits.
