Use this check before you buy Mysa for Electric Baseboard Heaters. For all the wiring details, see Wiring Requirements. For the electrical limits, see Wattage & Amperage Limits.
Mysa is probably compatible if you have all of these
- A thermostat on the wall. A dial or controls on the heater are not compatible.
- Line voltage heating: 120/208/240 VAC.
- Electric baseboard heaters, convectors, fan-forced heaters or radiant ceiling heaters.
- 4 wires in the gang box of your thermostat: two cables with two wires in each cable, not counting the ground wire.

Do you have a thermostat on the wall?
Mysa replaces a thermostat on the wall.

Line voltage or low voltage?
Mysa for Electric Baseboard Heaters controls line voltage heating only (120/208/240 VAC).

Warning: Before you remove your thermostat from the wall to look at the wires, turn off the circuit breaker. Make sure that the power is off.
Only 2 wires?
- 2 wires at 24 V: use the Mysa Smart Thermostat with a C-wire adapter.
- 2 wires at 120 V: Mysa for Electric Baseboard Heaters is not compatible. A compatible Mysa will be available later in 2027.
Other systems that are not compatible
- Electric in-floor heating: use Mysa for In-Floor Heating.
