Alerts Feel Delayed or Only Fire Once

Home Environment Alerts are sent within about 5 minutes of reaching the threshold. You get one notification per thermostat per alert event. If the room stays above or below the threshold, you will not get a stream of repeats for the same event.

When the next alert can fire

After the reading returns inside the normal range and then crosses the threshold again. There is no snooze. Each alert type is either enabled or disabled.

No history in the app

There is no long-term alert history in the Mysa app. After a notification is sent, check your phone’s notification center. Watch notifications follow the same phone as the owner’s Mysa login.

Thresholds that never fire

• High temperature range in help: 16°C–40°C (61°F–104°F). Low: 1°C–14°C (34°F–57°F).

• Humidity 5%–95%. If you enable both high and low humidity, set them at least 5% apart.

• Alerts use the thermostat’s ambient sensor — a sunny wall or a drafty install can trip high/low sooner than the rest of the room.

Smart Alerts are a consumer-grade feature. Do not rely on them as the only protection where property or safety depends on a guaranteed alert.
