Filter Cleaning Reminder Isn’t Working

Filter cleaning reminders are available on compatible Mysa for Mini-Splits devices. Use these steps if the reminder does not arrive or the countdown does not restart after cleaning the filter.

If the reminder does not arrive

1. Open the Mysa app and confirm a reminder interval is selected, such as 30, 60, or 90 days.
2. Allow notifications for the Mysa app in your phone’s iOS or Android settings.
3. Turn off Focus, Do Not Disturb, or battery optimization that may silence background notifications.
4. Confirm you are signed in as the Home owner. Shared users do not receive Smart Alerts.

After cleaning the filter

Open the filter reminder in the Mysa app and tap Reset. Cleaning the filter does not restart the countdown automatically.

If the option is missing

Confirm the selected device is a compatible Mysa for Mini-Splits thermostat. Filter cleaning reminders do not appear on every Mysa product.
