Heat Comes Back After Setting Off

Off in the app should stop calling for heat until something else sends a new command.

Check These First

  1. Confirm the thermostat still shows Off, not a hold at a low setpoint

  2. Disable or edit Alexa / Google / HomeKit routines that include that Mysa

  3. Check whether a schedule, shortcut, geofence, or zone re-applied heat

  4. Set Off again and wait a few minutes

If the heater physically never stops (element stays hot even when the app shows Off), that can be a wiring issue — heater on L1 instead of Load. See Baseboard: Heat Won’t Shut Off / No Heat under Heating And Cooling Issues.
