Heat Comes Back After Setting Off

Off in the app should stop calling for heat until something else sends a new command. If heat returns, the thermostat is usually no longer in Off — a hold, schedule event, shortcut, geofencing, or a voice routine turned it back on.

Check these first

  1. Confirm the thermostat still shows Off, not a hold at a low setpoint. A low hold still calls for heat in cold weather.

  2. Disable or edit Alexa / Google / HomeKit routines that include that Mysa.

  3. Check whether a schedule event, Home/Away/Vacation shortcut, or geofencing applied a new setpoint or mode after you tapped Off.

  4. If the device is in a zone, a zone hold or zone schedule can turn heat back on for every included thermostat. Change the zone, not one tile.

If the thermostat runs a schedule, Off on its own only lasts until the next scheduled event. Select Off and hold it — see Turning Your Thermostat Off.
