Mode or Off Won’t Stick

If Heat, Cool, Auto, or Off changes back a few minutes later, something else is sending a new command. The last command wins.

In the Mysa app

• A schedule event can change mode or setpoint when the next block starts.

• Home, Away, or Vacation shortcuts can change several thermostats at once.

• Geofencing can apply those shortcuts when phones cross the boundary (Away waits until everyone included has left).

• A zone hold or zone schedule applies to every thermostat in the zone.

Outside the app

• Alexa, Google, and HomeKit routines or scenes

• Someone else in the household changing the same thermostat (including a shared user)

• The physical thermostat or mini-split remote, if that product still accepts local commands
