Device Settings
Device Settings let you customize how your Mysa Smart Thermostat looks, behaves, and interacts with your HVAC system.
To access Device Settings, tap a thermostat from your home screen, then tap the Settings icon (bottom right).
Thermostat Info
View and edit basic device information:
- Mysa Name — Rename your thermostat
- Home Assignment — Move to a different Home
- Timezone — Update for correct schedule timing
- Serial Number, MAC Address, Model, Device Version — Reference info for support

Thermostat Display
Control the display and physical buttons:
- Brightness Settings — Sleep and wake brightness levels
- Adaptive Brightness — Auto-adjust based on room lighting
- Wake on Approach — Display wakes when you approach
- Button Lock — Prevent changes from the device

Thermostat Preferences
Customize thermostat behavior:
- Auto Mode — Auto-switch between heating and cooling
- Filter Change Reminder — Set cleaning reminders
- Hardware Setpoint Limits — Min/max temperature from the device
- Temperature Format — Celsius or Fahrenheit

Thermostat Configuration
Configure how your thermostat works with your HVAC system:
- HVAC Configuration Code — System wiring configuration
- Freeze Protection — Auto-heat when temps drop below 7°C (45°F)
- Staged Auxiliary Heat — Automatic aux engagement
- Advanced Configuration — Fan control requirements
- Minimum Fan Runtime — Periodic fan circulation
