Thermostat Preferences

Thermostat Preferences let you customize how your Mysa Smart Thermostat behaves—enable auto mode, set filter cleaning reminders, limit the temperature range, and choose Celsius or Fahrenheit.

To access preferences, tap the thermostat from your home screen, then tap the Settings icon (bottom right) > Thermostat Preferences.

Auto Mode

When enabled, your thermostat automatically switches between heating and cooling to maintain your desired temperature. Useful for seasons or climates where you might need both in the same day.

Filter Change Reminder

Set a reminder to clean or replace your HVAC filter. Choose how many days between reminders based on your filter type and household needs.

Note Reminders are based on calendar days, not actual HVAC runtime.

Tip Most filters should be checked every 1–3 months. Homes with pets or allergies may need more frequent changes.

Hardware Setpoint Limits

Set the minimum and maximum temperatures that can be set from the thermostat itself. This limits the range available on the physical device.

Rental properties where you want to prevent extreme settings
Childproofing
Energy management

Temperature Format

Choose whether temperatures display in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). This affects both the thermostat display and the Mysa app.
