Mesh or Merged Network Pairing

If you have a mesh Wi-Fi system, or a router that combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under one network name, pairing can behave differently than on a standard single-band setup.

If Your Router Merges Bands

• Check if your router has a setting to separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz into distinct network names

• If not, temporarily create a guest network on 2.4 GHz only for setup, then connect Mysa to that

If You Have a Mesh System

• If pairing struggles, try standing closer to the main router node rather than a satellite/extender point

• After successful pairing, the thermostat will stay connected even on a merged network — this guidance is mainly relevant during initial setup
