Router Settings for Pairing

If pairing repeatedly fails and your phone settings check out, your router configuration may be the cause.

Settings to Check

Security: use WPA2 or WPA2/WPA3 Transitional — WPA3-only networks are not supported
MAC Filtering: disable it, or manually add your thermostat's MAC address to the allowed list
Band Steering: disable this if your router automatically switches devices between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz — it can cause Mysa to lose its connection mid-setup
Hidden Network: if your network is hidden (no broadcast SSID), try temporarily making it visible during setup, then re-hide it afterward if needed
