Google Home Can’t Find or Control Mysa

Last updated: September 14, 2026

Use this guide when Google Home cannot find a Mysa thermostat, Google Assistant commands do not work, or the Mysa account will not link.

Applies to: the native Google Home integration for Mysa for Baseboards (V1, V2, and Lite) and Mysa for In-Floor Heating. Mysa Smart Thermostat uses Matter and follows its product-specific Matter guides.

Google Home can’t find Mysa

  1. Open the Mysa app and confirm the thermostat is online.

  2. In Google Home, open Settings → Works with Google → Mysa and tap Reconnect.

  3. If the thermostat still does not appear, unlink Mysa, link it again, and assign the thermostat to a room.

Commands do not work

  • Use the exact room name assigned in Google Home.

  • Try: “Hey Google, set [room name] thermostat to [temperature].”

  • Confirm the thermostat responds in the Mysa app.

  • If only an automation fails, test a direct command first, then recreate the automation.

The account will not link

Use your Mysa app email and password, not your Google credentials. Check your internet connection and try again. If needed, reset your Mysa password from the Mysa app sign-in screen.

The temperature unit looks wrong

Google Home uses the temperature format selected in the Mysa app. Check Settings → Temperature Format.

Still not working?
