Amazon Alexa Can’t Find or Control Mysa
Last updated: September 14, 2026
Use this guide when Alexa cannot discover a Mysa thermostat, voice commands do not work, or the Mysa skill will not link.
Applies to: the native Alexa integration for Mysa for Baseboards (V1, V2, and Lite) and Mysa for In-Floor Heating. Mysa Smart Thermostat uses Matter and follows its product-specific Matter guides.
Alexa can’t find Mysa
Open the Mysa app and confirm the thermostat is online.
In the Alexa app, confirm the Mysa skill is enabled.
Say “Alexa, discover my devices” or use Discover Devices in the Alexa app.
If it still does not appear, disable the Mysa skill, enable it again, sign in with your Mysa app account, and run discovery again.
Commands do not work
Use the exact room or thermostat name shown in Alexa.
Try: “Alexa, set [room name] thermostat to [temperature].”
Confirm the thermostat still responds in the Mysa app.
If only a routine fails, test a direct voice command first, then recreate the routine.
The account will not link
Use your Mysa app email and password, not your Amazon credentials. If needed, reset your Mysa password from the Mysa app sign-in screen, then enable the skill again.
Still not working?
Email support@getmysa.com with the thermostat model, the exact Alexa error, and whether the thermostat is online in the Mysa app.
