Apple Home shows missing temperature for Mysa for Mini-Splits

Last updated: August 13, 2026

Applies to: Mysa for Mini-Splits / Mysa AC connected to Apple HomeKit.

If Apple Home shows --°, a missing temperature, or stale status on the accessory tile, first confirm the device is online and showing the expected room information in the Mysa app. If the detailed Apple Home control screen still responds but the tile looks wrong, this is usually an Apple HomeKit display/status sync issue rather than a wiring or thermostat setup problem.

Try resetting the Apple Home connection

  1. Open the Mysa app and confirm the device is online.

  2. Remove the Mysa for Mini-Splits accessory from the Apple Home app.

  3. Restart the Apple Home hub, such as an Apple TV or HomePod, if one is being used.

  4. Power-cycle the Mysa thermostat or controller.

  5. Add the device back to Apple Home using the HomeKit setup code or QR code.

If Apple Home still shows missing temperature or status

Re-linking can resolve stale HomeKit data, but it is not a guaranteed fix. In some cases, Mysa for Mini-Splits can still control the unit while Apple Home does not display temperature or status correctly.

If control works but Apple Home still shows missing or incorrect status, contact Mysa Support with the product model, Mysa app version, iOS version, and a screenshot of the Apple Home tile and detail screen. Support can confirm whether the case matches a known integration display issue.
