Homes Troubleshooting
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Homes are separate properties on one login. Each Home has its own thermostats, schedules, geofencing, and shared users. Most “missing thermostat” reports are the wrong Home selected, a shared login, or a device still tied to someone else’s account.
Quick checks
From the home screen, tap the Home name at the top and confirm you selected the right property. You can set a Primary Home in Home settings so it opens first.
Confirm you are signed into the account that paired the thermostat. Shared users only see Homes that were shared with that email.
There is no cap on the number of Homes. A Home with far more than about 50 devices can make the app feel slow — that is a recommendation, not a hard limit.
