Can’t Create or Delete a Home

Creating and deleting Homes is an owner action in Manage Mysa Homes. Shared users cannot create or delete Homes.

Can’t create

  1. There is no maximum number of Homes. If Create New Home is missing, you are likely on a shared login, or the app needs an update.

  2. Menu icon > Manage Mysa Homes > Create New Home. Give it a clear name, then add address and electricity rate (used for cost estimates).

  3. Pair thermostats to that Home after it exists. Creating the Home does not move devices automatically.

Can’t delete / do not delete by mistake

  1. Manage Mysa Homes > tap the Home > Remove Home.

  2. Deleting a Home removes all thermostats in it. You will have to re-pair each one to use them again.

  3. To move a single thermostat, remove that device and re-pair it to the destination Home instead of deleting the whole Home.

If you still cannot resolve it, email support@getmysa.com if Create New Home is missing on the account that originally paired the devices.
