Adding a Thermostat in the App

Use Add Mysa / Add Device to pair a powered thermostat to your account over Bluetooth, then connect it to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

Before You Begin

  • Thermostat is powered and showing pairing mode (Bluetooth / pairing icon)

  • Phone Bluetooth is on

  • Mysa app is installed and you are signed in

  • You have the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi name and password

  • Phone is on that Wi-Fi network and within about 1–2 meters of the thermostat

Steps

  1. Open the Mysa app

  2. Tap the menu > Add Mysa (or Add Device / Add Thermostat)

  3. Confirm the thermostat is on

  4. Select the pairing symbol. If it is missing, hold the up and down arrows until pairing mode appears

  5. Stand near the thermostat, tap Identify if asked, and accept the phone pairing prompt

  6. Name the thermostat and assign it to a Home

  7. Select your 2.4 GHz network and enter the password

  8. Wait for any firmware update to finish, or skip and retry later from Device Settings

When pairing succeeds, the thermostat appears on the home screen as Online.

Note: Mysa requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. It does not connect to 5 GHz–only networks.
