Scheduling FAQ'sUpdated 6 days ago

Note: If a zone schedule is set up, it will override individual schedules.

Creating Schedules – FAQs

1. Can each thermostat have its own schedule?

Yes! Each thermostat can have a unique schedule. If you have four thermostats, you can create up to four separate schedules—one for each device.

2. How many schedule events can I set per thermostat?

You can program up to 56 events per week for each thermostat. Each event is defined by a specific time and temperature.

3. Any tips for setting up the 56 events?

For optimal efficiency, it’s best to spread the 56 events across the entire week rather than using too many in a single day. This helps balance energy savings and comfort.

Scheduling and Thermostat Controls

1. Can I set a schedule directly on the thermostat?

No. Scheduling is only available through the Mysa app. You won’t be able to program a schedule directly on the thermostat’s faceplate.

2. Can I manually adjust the temperature on the thermostat?

Yes! You can manually change the set temperature using the thermostat’s buttons. This manual adjustment will temporarily override the schedule until the next programmed event kicks in.

What happens during a power or internet outage?

1. What happens if the power goes out?

Mysa will automatically reconnect and resume all settings once power is restored. It also resets its internal clock automatically, so no action is required.

2. What happens if the internet goes out?

Mysa will continue following the last programmed event. You won’t be able to control the thermostat remotely through the app, but it will maintain the last set temperature.

3. What if both power and internet are lost?

Mysa will attempt to reconnect once power and internet are restored. In the meantime, it will keep the temperature setting from before the outage until connectivity returns.
