Troubleshooting Random Temperature Changes with Your Mysa Thermostat

If your Mysa thermostat is making unexpected temperature changes, it can be confusing. This guide offers easy steps to fix these issues, whether you're using a schedule or not. Plus, noting the times of these changes can help if you need to reach out to customer support for more help.

1. With a Schedule

If your thermostat is operating on a set schedule, follow these steps:

  1. Delete the Schedule: Temporarily remove any set schedules from your thermostat. This step helps determine if the schedule itself is causing unexpected temperature changes.

  2. Check Geofencing: Ensure geofencing is not activated. Geofencing might adjust your thermostat based on the location of your smartphone, leading to unintended temperature changes.

  3. Re-pair the Thermostat: If the above steps don't resolve the issue, try deleting and then re-pairing your thermostat with the app. This process can help refresh the connection and clear any glitches.

2. Without a Schedule

For thermostats operating without a set schedule, follow these steps:

  1. Check Geofencing: Similar to the scheduled setup, ensure that geofencing is deactivated to prevent unwanted adjustments.

  2. Delete and Re-pair: If the issue persists, deleting and re-pairing your thermostat is a recommended step to potentially resolve the problem.

3. With Mysa AC :

Climate+ feature can be responsible for adjusting the temperature, as it ensures that the set temperature is maintained. For more details, take a look at our Climate+ article.

No matter how your thermostat is set up, it's important to keep track of any random temperature changes by noting the date and time they happen.
