Multi-Home: Managing Multiple Locations

The Multi-Home feature lets you manage Mysa thermostats across multiple properties — your main residence, a vacation home, rental properties, or office spaces — all from one app. Switch between Homes with a few taps, no need to sign in and out of separate accounts.

Each Home has its own schedules, geofencing settings, and shared access permissions, so you can customize how each location operates independently.

How to Create a New Home

  1. Open the Mysa app and tap the menu icon

  2. Select Manage Mysa Homes

  3. Tap Create New Home

  4. Enter a name for the Home

  5. Add the address and electricity rate (used for energy cost estimates)

How to Switch Between Homes

From the app home screen, tap the home name at the top of the screen. Select the Home you want to view from the list.

How to Move a Thermostat to a Different Home

Thermostats cannot be transferred directly between Homes. To move one:

  1. Remove the thermostat from its current Home:

  • Open the Mysa app

  • Tap the thermostat you want to move

  • Tap the settings icon

  • Tap Remove Thermostat

  1. Re-pair the thermostat to the new Home:

  • Switch to the destination Home in the app

  • Follow the standard pairing process

Note Removing a thermostat clears its schedules and settings. You'll need to reconfigure these after re-pairing.

Editing A Home

After creating a Home, you can configure:

  • Home Name — Rename anytime

  • Shared Access — Invite others to control thermostats in this Home

  • Geofencing — Set automatic temperature adjustments when you leave or arrive

  • Shortcuts — Create one-tap actions for this Home

  • Smart Alerts — Enable notifications for temperature, humidity, and geofencing events

  • Primary Home — Set which Home appears first when you open the app

Delete Home

How to Delete a Home

  1. Open the Mysa app and tap the menu icon

  2. Select Manage Mysa Homes

  3. Tap the Home you want to delete

  4. Tap Remove Home

Caution Deleting a Home removes all thermostats within it. You'll need to re-pair each thermostat to add it to another Home.

Limits

  • Maximum Homes: No Limit

  • Recommended Devices: 50 devices per home, while not a strict limit, app slow down can occur.
