Troubleshooting Rebate Code Issues

If your rebate or promo code isn't working at checkout, don't worry. Here are common issues and how to resolve them.

Common Issues and Solutions

Code Not Accepted

If you see an error when entering your code:

  • Check for typos, extra spaces, or incorrect capitalization
  • Copy and paste the code directly from the source email or website to avoid errors
  • Make sure you're entering the code in the correct field ("Discount code" or "Promo code")
  • Try removing and re-entering the code

Tip: Promo codes are typically case-sensitive. Enter the code exactly as it was provided.

Code Expired

If you receive an "expired" error:

  • Check the expiration date in the original offer email or promotion
  • Promotional codes have specific validity periods and cannot be used after expiry
  • Contact support@getmysa.com if you believe the code should still be valid

Code Doesn't Apply to Your Product

Some codes are product-specific:

  • Verify the code applies to the specific Mysa product in your cart
  • Some promotions are limited to specific models (e.g., Mysa V2 only)
  • Bundle or multi-pack discounts may require a minimum quantity

Instant Rebate Not Appearing

If you expected an instant utility rebate but don't see it:

  • Ensure your shipping address is entered correctly and completely
  • Verify that your utility provider participates in the instant rebate program
  • Try refreshing the checkout page after entering your address
  • Check that the rebate program is still active (programs may have ended or exhausted funding)

Note: Instant rebates are based on your shipping address and your utility provider. If your address is on the border of service areas, the system may not detect your eligibility.

Multiple Codes Won't Apply Together

Mysa's checkout has limitations on combining codes:

  • Only one promo code can be applied per order
  • Instant utility rebates can typically be combined with a promo code
  • Two promo codes cannot be used on the same order

Important: If you have multiple promo codes, use the one with the highest value, as they cannot be combined.

Browser or Technical Issues

If the code field isn't working properly:

  1. Clear your browser cache and cookies
  2. Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  3. Disable browser extensions that may interfere with checkout
  4. Try checking out on a different device
  5. Use an incognito or private browsing window

  2. Note the exact code you're trying to use

  4. Our team will investigate and help apply the discount manually if the code is valid
