In-Floor is capped at 90°F even after setting a 104°F floor limit
Audience: Mysa Customers.
Use this when Mysa for In-Floor Heating is in Floor mode, the floor type is Tile/Stone, the app shows a higher floor protection limit such as 104°F, but the thermostat still will not heat above about 90°F.
Why this can happen
The floor protection limit may not have been rewritten correctly after the floor type or floor protection setting changed. Re-saving the floor type can rewrite the higher Tile/Stone floor limit.
Try this reset
- Open the Mysa app and select the In-Floor thermostat.
- Open the thermostat settings for floor type / floor protection.
- Change the floor type to Hardwood and save.
- Change the floor type back to Tile/Stone and save again.
- Set the floor setpoint to a value above 90°F, such as 95°F.
- Watch whether the heat indicator stays on once the floor temperature reaches 90°F.
If it still stops at 90°F
Contact Mysa Support with the floor type, floor mode setting, setpoint, current floor temperature, and a screenshot of the floor protection limit shown in the app.
