Sharing Invite Not Received or Can’t Accept
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Invites only attach to the exact email the owner entered. The invited person can accept from the email or in the Mysa app.
Owner — confirm the invite was sent
Send from the Home they should see. Depending on the app, that is Manage Mysa Homes > [Home] > Share Access > Add User (name + email), or Account > Sharing > Invite User.
Check the spelling of the email before you send again. Typos are the most common miss.
If they already use Mysa on a different address, invite that email, or have them sign in with the invited address. The invite will not show on another login.
If a pending invite sits unused, delete it and send a new one. Only the primary user can send or resend invitations.
Invitee — no email in the inbox
Wait a few minutes, then check spam, junk, and promotions. Search for Mysa.
Make sure you are looking in the mailbox that was invited — not a different personal inbox.
If you already have a Mysa account on that email, open the app and look for an in-app notification. Existing Mysa users get that even when the email is delayed or filtered.
If you do not have an account yet, the invite email includes a temporary password to create one. Create or sign in with the invited email using that message.
Open the Mysa app on the invited login and accept there if a pending share appears. You do not have to use the email link.
If they still cannot accept, contact support@getmysa.com with the owner’s email, the invited email, and the Home name.
