Can’t Add or Remove Thermostats From a Zone

This is expected behavior, not a broken setting.

You cannot add or remove individual thermostats from an existing zone. To change membership:

  1. Note the zone name, schedule, and the thermostats you want

  2. Delete the existing zone

  3. Create a new zone with the updated list

  4. Confirm the new zone has the setpoint and schedule you want

Note: Each thermostat runs independently between deleting the old zone and creating the new one. Temperatures may diverge during that gap.
