Device Settings
Device Settings let you customize how your Mysa for Baseboards looks and behaves.
To access Device Settings, tap a thermostat from your home screen, then tap the Settings icon.
Thermostat Info
View and edit basic device information:
- Mysa Name — Rename your thermostat (e.g., "Living Room" or "Bedroom")
- Home Assignment — Move to a different Home
- Timezone — Update for correct schedule timing
- Serial Number, MAC Address, Model, Device Version — Reference info for support
Thermostat Display
Control the display and buttons:
- Brightness Settings — Sleep and wake brightness levels
- Adaptive Brightness — Auto-adjust based on room lighting (V2 only)
- Wake on Approach — Display wakes when you approach (V2 only)
Note Lite has physical buttons and no sensors, so it only supports manual brightness adjustment.
Thermostat Preferences
Customize thermostat behavior:
- Temperature Format — Celsius or Fahrenheit
- Heater Type — Baseboard, Fan-forced, or Radiant (see Heater Type Selection)
Thermostat Configuration
Configure how your thermostat works:
- Button Lock — Prevents temperature changes from the device buttons. Users can still adjust temperature from the app.
- Min/Max Setpoint Limits — Set minimum and maximum temperature limits that can be set on the thermostat. Useful for rentals, shared spaces, or child safety.
Note In Heat mode, the minimum setpoint is 5°C (41°F). In Off mode, the thermostat doesn't control temperature at all — there is no automatic freeze protection.
HomeKit
If you use Apple HomeKit, you can connect your Mysa from this settings screen. See Smart Home Integration for details.
Remove Thermostat
At the bottom of Device Settings, you can remove the thermostat from your account. See Removing and Resetting Your Thermostat for details.
