What to Do in Case of a Power OutageUpdated 8 months ago
Automatic Recovery
When power is restored, Mysa is designed to automatically recover and reconnect to your network. This process begins as soon as your router is powered back on, allowing Mysa to seamlessly re-establish its network connection without any manual intervention.
Extended Power Outages
In cases of prolonged power outages, there may be a delay in Mysa reconnecting to the network. If the thermostat does not reconnect within a reasonable timeframe, you might need to manually reboot or re-pair it to ensure it resumes normal operation.
1. Rebooting the unit can help in restoring connection.
- For Mysa In-floor and Mysa Lite-V1-V2 : Hold the up and down arrow until you see the smiley face.
- For Mysa AC: Hold the two side buttons.
2. Manual Re-Pairing Steps
If rebooting and automatic reconnection fails, you can manually re-pair Mysa to your network by following these steps:
- Ensure you are on-site, as remote reconnection is not possible.
- Follow the standard pairing process as outlined in this article HERE.
Maintaining Settings
Throughout any disconnection period, Mysa will retain and operate under the last settings it was configured with prior to the outage.
Mysa can be controlled manually at any time by using the up and down arrows to control the temperature, and by holding the down arrow for a few seconds to switch it to Off mode.
