Device Permission ErrorUpdated 8 months ago

Encountered a device permission error with your Mysa thermostat? Here’s what you should check:

Shared Access:

    1. Are you using the Mysa app as a shared user? Shared access may limit your ability to modify settings.

  2.  Similarly, if you’re accessing the thermostat through a shared HomeKit setup, confirm your user permissions.

Account Pairing:

  1. Is the thermostat correctly paired with your Mysa account? This ensures full access to all its features.

  2.  Confirm that the device is not solely added to HomeKit. It should also be registered within the Mysa app for complete functionality.

HomeKit Responsiveness:

  1.  If the unit appears unresponsive in HomeKit, verify its connection and settings within both the Mysa app and HomeKit.

Key Solution: Make sure the thermostat is not only added to HomeKit but also paired and registered in your Mysa app under your account. This dual setup is crucial for seamless operation and access to all features.
