Smart Home Integration

Mysa for Mini-Splits works with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa. Control your mini-split with your voice or include it in smart home automations.

Supported Integrations

| Platform | Status | Setup Location | Details |

| Apple HomeKit | Supported | Apple Home app | HomeKit Setup Guide |

| Google Home | Supported | Google Home app | Google Home Setup Guide |

| Amazon Alexa | Supported | Mysa app or Alexa app | Alexa Setup Guide |

Note: Hilo by Hydro-Quebec is only supported for Mysa for Baseboard products, not Mini-Splits.

Deprecated Integrations

The following integrations are no longer supported:

SmartThings — Mysa no longer supports Samsung SmartThings integration. Existing connections will no longer work. Use HomeKit, Google Home, or Alexa instead.

IFTTT — Mysa no longer supports IFTTT integration. Existing applets will no longer work. Use native automations in HomeKit, Google Home, or Alexa instead.

Quick Tips

Naming Your Devices

Use simple, clear names for easier voice control:

  • Good: "Bedroom," "Living Room," "Office"
  • Avoid: "Mysa AC 1," "Upstairs Back Bedroom Mini-Split"

Temperature Units

Smart home platforms use your Mysa app's temperature unit setting (Celsius or Fahrenheit).

Response Time

There may be a slight delay (a few seconds) between voice commands and the mini-split responding. This is normal — Mysa sends the IR command, and the unit needs a moment to process it.

Keeping Things in Sync

Changes made in the Mysa app, HomeKit, Google Home, or Alexa all sync with each other. You can control from any platform.
