Mysa Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Mysa purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward return process with a 30-day window to make returns easy.
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return your Mysa thermostat for a refund. This gives you plenty of time to install, test, and make sure the product is right for you before the return window closes.
Return Deadline: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of your original purchase date to be eligible for a refund.
Return Eligibility Requirements
You don't need to keep your thermostat sealed to return it — we expect you to try it out. To qualify for a full refund, your return needs to meet the following conditions:
Product Condition
Tested is fine — It's okay if you've opened, installed, and used the thermostat. A unit that's been tried is still eligible for a refund.
Complete — The return should include the thermostat, backplate, wire connectors, screws, user guide, and any other original components.
Undamaged — The product should not show signs of physical damage, water damage, or improper installation beyond normal use.
Original packaging preferred — Returning the unit in its original box is preferred for safe transit, but it isn't required.
Acceptable Returns
Items returned within 30 days that are complete and undamaged are eligible for a full refund — whether or not they've been opened or installed. If your unit was damaged during installation or is missing components, contact our support team and we'll work through the options with you (a partial refund may apply — see Restocking Fees and Damaged Returns).
How to Start a Return
Starting a return is simple. You can begin in either of these ways:
Use our Returns Portal — Head to the Mysa Returns Portal and follow the steps to start your return and generate a prepaid shipping label.

Your order number or invoice number
The reason you'd like to return the product
Your name and preferred contact method
Once your return is started, our team will provide a prepaid shipping label and return address. Pack the thermostat securely, ship it using the provided label, and you can track delivery with our support team.
Return Shipping
Once your return is approved, we'll provide you with a prepaid return shipping label. This means you won't pay shipping costs to send the product back to us.
Shipping Timeline: Allow 5-7 business days for your return shipment to reach our facility, depending on your location and carrier.
Refund Timeline
After we receive and inspect your return, we process refunds promptly:
Receipt of Return — We'll send you a confirmation email when your return arrives at our facility.
Inspection Period — We inspect the product to verify it meets return eligibility requirements (typically 3-5 business days).
Refund Processing — Once approved, we process the refund to your original payment method.
Refund Completion — Refunds typically appear in your account within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank.
Timeline Summary: From shipping to refund completion, expect 10-15 business days total. Check your email for updates on your return status.
Special Situations
Damaged or Defective Products — If your product arrived damaged or is defective, contact us immediately. We may offer a replacement or full refund without requiring a return. See our Warranty Policy for manufacturing defects.
Changed Your Mind — Whether your unit is still sealed or you've installed and tested it, you can return it within 30 days. Just start a return and we'll send a prepaid label.
