Warranty replacement for a Baseboard V2 faceplate LED issue

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Overview

If a Mysa Baseboard V2 thermostat has a localized faceplate LED/display issue and the thermostat otherwise remains functional, support may not need to replace the full thermostat.

Resolution

For Baseboard V2 warranty cases involving a burnt-out or failed faceplate LED, replace the faceplate only rather than sending a full replacement thermostat.

Before processing

  • Confirm the issue is limited to the faceplate display/LED and is not a power, wiring, relay, or full-device failure.

  • If the thermostat is blank, will not power on, shows an error code, or has heat-control issues, use the appropriate troubleshooting and warranty process instead.

  • Ask the customer for the normal warranty details required by the warranty replacement process.

Customer-facing wording

We can replace the faceplate for this type of display issue. You do not need a full thermostat replacement unless troubleshooting shows the thermostat itself has failed.
