Compatible Heater Types

Mysa for In-Floor Heating is built for electric radiant floor heating only — a heating mat or heating cable on a line-voltage circuit. It is not a whole-home HVAC thermostat and it is not a Mysa for Baseboards replacement.

Electric heating mats

Thin electric mats installed under tile, stone, or other compatible floor finishes. Mysa connects directly to the mat's line-voltage circuit and uses a floor sensor to monitor surface temperature.

Electric heating cables

Loose heating cable or cable kits embedded in mortar, self-leveler, or a similar floor assembly. Same requirements as mats: line-voltage electric heat, copper wiring, and a floor sensor.

Supported voltage

Single-phase 120V, 208V, or 240V only. Three-phase 208V is not supported.

Load limits

• 120V — up to 1,900W

• 208V single-phase — up to 3,328W (16A)

• 240V — up to 3,800W (15A)

Floor sensor

A floor sensor is required. Mysa includes a 10K Ohm sensor with a 15 ft cable. Third-party sensors in the 5K–40K Ohm range can be used when they are installed correctly in the heated floor.

One thermostat per zone

Each Mysa for In-Floor Heating thermostat controls one compatible electric in-floor zone within the load limits above. There is no Mysa power module for this product.
