Smart Early-On Isn’t Working
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Smart Early-On may begin heating or cooling before a scheduled event so the room is closer to the scheduled temperature on time. If it does not seem to work, check these items first.
Availability: Smart Early-On is available on supported products such as Mysa for Baseboards V2 and Mysa Smart Thermostat. It is not available on Mysa LITE.
Confirm a schedule exists
Smart Early-On works with scheduled temperature changes. Confirm the thermostat has an active schedule and that the event you are testing changes to a different target temperature.
Clear features that override the schedule
A hold, geofencing, a Home/Away/Vacation shortcut, a zone schedule, or a smart-home command can take priority over the device schedule. Clear the active override and choose Follow Schedule where available.
Allow time for learning
Smart Early-On learns how quickly the room and heating or cooling system respond. The start time can change as it learns. Starting earlier than expected is not necessarily a fault if the target is reached around the scheduled time.
Check the thermostat connection
Open the Mysa app and confirm the thermostat is online. If it is offline, reconnect it before testing another scheduled event.
