Compatible Heater Types

Mysa for Baseboards works with several types of line-voltage electric heaters. Select the matching mode in the app during setup.

Electric Baseboard Heaters

Standard electric baseboards that heat by convection. Select Baseboard mode in the app.

Convection Heaters

Work the same as baseboards. Select Baseboard mode.

Fan-Forced Heaters

Heaters with built-in fans, including toe kick heaters and wall-mounted fan heaters. Select Fan-forced mode — this uses a longer duty cycle to protect the fan motor.

Radiant Heaters

Radiant ceiling heaters and similar systems. Select Radiant mode — this uses on/off control that only activates when the room is 0.5°C (1°F) below the setpoint.

The Mysa app walks you through heater type selection during setup. If you're unsure which category your heater falls into, email install@getmysa.com with a photo of the heater.
