Scheduling Overview
Last updated: August 19, 2026
Scheduling is one of the best ways to save energy with Mysa. Set a weekly routine once, and your thermostat automatically adjusts temperature throughout the day so your home stays comfortable without constant manual changes.
How scheduling works
Schedules repeat weekly
You add events for specific times and temperatures (and mode, where supported)
Between events, the thermostat holds the last scheduled setpoint
A schedule runs continuously unless something else overrides it, such as a hold, shortcut, geofencing, zone schedule, or smart-home command
Related features
Schedule Holds — temporarily pause the schedule
Saved Schedules — store and reuse schedules across thermostats (availability varies by product)
Smart Early-On — start heating or cooling early so the room reaches the scheduled temperature on time (availability varies by product)
Energy-saving tip
For many homes, useful setbacks from your comfort temperature are about 7°C (12–13°F) cooler while away and about 4°C (7°F) cooler while sleeping for heating. For cooling, the reverse setbacks (warmer while away/sleeping) are often recommended. Adjust to what feels comfortable in your home.
