Mysa for Baseboards — Overview

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Mysa for Baseboards is a smart thermostat designed for line-voltage (120V/240V) electric heating systems — including baseboard, convection, fan-forced, and radiant heaters.

Is it right for your home?

Mysa for Baseboards works with line-voltage systems only. If your current thermostat has thin wires labeled R, C, W, Y, G, or O/B, you have a low-voltage central HVAC system and need the Mysa Smart Thermostat instead.

Not sure? Use the Mysa Compatibility Checker or see our full Compatibility Quick Check article.

Three versions available

  • Mysa Baseboard 3 (V3): the current model. Highest capacity (2,000 W at 120 V or 4,000 W at 240 V), triac control, Matter, Smart Early-On, temperature offset, energy charting, Zones, humidity, Smart Alerts, and capacitive controls.

  • Mysa for Baseboards – V2: full feature set (Zones, Saved Schedules, Smart Alerts, Energy Charting, adaptive touch display, temperature offset). Maximum 1,900 W at 120 V or 3,800 W at 240 V.

  • Mysa LITE for Baseboards: budget-friendly option with scheduling, geofencing, temperature offset, and smart home integration via physical buttons. Maximum 1,900 W at 120 V or 3,800 W at 240 V.

See Mysa for Baseboards: V3 vs V2 vs Lite for the full breakdown. Do not use Baseboard 3's 2,000 W / 4,000 W limits for V2 or Lite.

What you'll need

At a glance, before buying you should confirm:

  • An existing wall thermostat (not a dial on the heater itself)

  • 120V or 240V wiring at the thermostat location

  • 4+ wires in your gang box

  • A heater within wattage limits

  • A smartphone (iOS or Android) and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

Setup

The Mysa app guides you through wiring, mounting, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi pairing, and heater type configuration. Most installs take 15–20 minutes.
