Mysa Baseboard 3: Pairing and reconnecting
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Mysa Baseboard 3 pairs over Bluetooth on first boot. Finish setup in the Mysa app before you add the thermostat to any smart-home platform.
This is not the same as Mysa for Baseboards V2 (hold the touch bar about 5 seconds) or V1 (Wi-Fi pairing).
What you need
The latest Mysa app (iOS or Android)
Phone Bluetooth turned on
Your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi name and password
The thermostat powered on
Phone within a couple of metres of the thermostat
You must be the primary account user to add a device
Product: Mysa for Electric Baseboard Heaters V3. Model BB-V3-0. Nameplate: MYSA BB V3-0.
Pair on first setup
Open the Mysa app and sign in (or create an account).
Tap Add Mysa and choose the Baseboard 3 / Mysa for Baseboards option that matches this product.
Grant Bluetooth permission if asked.
Stand near the thermostat. Select it in the app, then use Identify if the app offers it, so you know you have the right unit.
Name the thermostat, then connect it to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
Choose heater type: Baseboard, Fan-Forced, or Radiant.
Keep the thermostat powered and the app open if a firmware update starts.
When setup is done, the thermostat shows in the app as online. After that, you can get a Matter code from the Mysa app if you want Apple Home, Google Home, or Alexa.
Re-pair or put it back in pairing mode
To re-pair Baseboard 3, hold both arrow buttons for about 10 seconds until the thermostat enters pairing mode. Then add it again from the Mysa app.
Do not use the V2 path (hold the touch bar about 5 seconds). Baseboard 3 has two buttons (up and down), not a touch bar. V1 uses Wi-Fi pairing, not this button hold.
After pairing
You can group Baseboard 3 in a zone with a V1 or V2 baseboard thermostat.
Mysa LITE for Baseboards stays independent and is not grouped the same way.
Baseboard 3 does not have freeze protection.
If pairing fails
Confirm Bluetooth is on and you are close to the thermostat.
Confirm you are on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, not 5 GHz only.
Hold both arrows for about 10 seconds and try again.
If you still cannot pair, contact Mysa Support.
