Mini-Split Remote Code Pairing Fails
Last updated: September 2, 2026
Use these steps when Mysa powers on and connects to Wi-Fi, but cannot learn or match the infrared codes from your mini-split’s original remote.
Before you try again
Confirm the original remote uses infrared (IR), not RF, Bluetooth, or a wired-only connection. See Mysa for Mini-Splits cannot pair with RF remotes.
Point the original remote directly at the front face of Mysa from 15–30 cm (6–12 inches) away.
Use fresh batteries in the original remote.
Try in a dimly lit room and keep bright sunlight away from Mysa while it learns the signal.
Reset and retry remote learning
Press and hold the M and Fan buttons on Mysa until the factory reset completes.
Pair Mysa again in the app.
At the AC Remote Info step, follow the prompts with the original remote.
If automatic detection does not work, choose Know your Code Set ID and enter one code at a time.
Code set IDs to try
These code set IDs were previously confirmed or recommended for the listed remotes and brands. Compatibility can vary by exact model.
Mitsubishi FS15NA models — try 881 first, then 371.
Mitsubishi KM15E remote (0411567) — 881, 371, 238, 1117, or 231.
Direct Air RG10L(D2HS)/BGEFU1 remote — 46 or 40.
Kinghome — 2718, 2389, or 1567.
TCL (2010–2014 models) — 2706, 1510, or 380.
TOSOT — 2389, 1567, or 2718. Some TOSOT units use compatible Gree codes; 2389 has provided full command control, including Heat, on confirmed units.
Enter only one code at a time. If a code times out, retry it once; a slow connection can delay the download. If it still fails, move to the next code.
If the code will not download
See Troubleshooting Mysa AC code set download errors for connection and retry steps.
Get Support
If no code works, email support@getmysa.com with three photos of the original remote: the front, the back, and the battery compartment with the batteries removed. Include the indoor-unit model and remote model if available.
