How Geofencing Works with Shortcuts

Geofencing and shortcuts work together: geofencing decides when to run a shortcut based on location; the shortcut defines what happens to your devices.

How They Work Together

• Configure your Away and Home shortcuts with the temperatures (or actions) you want

• Turn on geofencing for the Home

• When your phone leaves the geofence area, Mysa can apply Away

• When you return, Mysa can apply Home

Tips

• Geofencing uses your phone’s location, so keep location permission enabled for reliable triggers

• If multiple people share a Home, review how shared access and geofencing are set up so arrivals/departures behave as expected

• If a shortcut seems to override your schedule unexpectedly, check whether geofencing activated it
