Warranty for Reseller Purchases
Mysa's warranty covers all products purchased from authorized resellers and retail partners. Here's how the warranty works for third-party purchases.
Warranty Coverage
Mysa provides the same warranty coverage regardless of where the product was purchased:
- All Mysa thermostats purchased from authorized resellers are covered under Mysa's standard warranty
- The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
- Coverage terms and exclusions are the same as for direct purchases from getmysa.com
Note: The warranty applies only to products purchased from authorized retailers. Products purchased from unauthorized sellers may not be covered.
Proof of Purchase Requirements
To file a warranty claim for a reseller purchase, you'll need:
- A receipt, invoice, or order confirmation from the authorized retailer
- The date of purchase must be visible on the documentation
- The product purchased must be identifiable (product name, SKU, or model)
Important: Keep your original receipt from the retailer. Without proof of purchase, we may be unable to verify the warranty start date and process your claim.
Warranty Start Date
For reseller purchases:
- The warranty begins on the date of purchase from the authorized retailer
- The date on your retailer receipt determines the warranty start date
- The warranty period is the same as for direct purchases (see our Warranty Policy article for current terms)
How to File a Claim
Warranty claims for reseller purchases are handled directly by Mysa:
- Email support@getmysa.com with:
- A copy of your retailer receipt or proof of purchase
- Description of the issue
- Photos or videos of the defect (if applicable)
- Our support team will verify your purchase and review the claim
- If approved, a replacement will be shipped directly to you
Tip: You do not need to go back to the retailer for warranty service. Warranty claims are handled directly by Mysa.
Unauthorized Sellers
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or second-hand markets (such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or Craigslist) may not be covered under warranty:
- Mysa cannot verify the original purchase date or product authenticity for unauthorized sales
- Products from unauthorized sellers may be used, damaged, or counterfeit
- Contact support@getmysa.com if you're unsure whether your seller is authorized
