Zones FAQ's- For Mysa V1 & V2 ONLYUpdated 3 months ago
1. Zoning for Mysa In-Floor Units
Currently, Mysa for In-Floor heating units do not support zoning functionality. While this may be a feature in future updates, a specific launch date for zoning capabilities is not available at this time.
2. Zoning for Mysa AC and Mini-Split Heat Pump Units
Similar to In-Floor units, Mysa for AC and Mini-Split Heat Pump systems currently lack zoning support. We are exploring the possibility of introducing this feature, but no definitive release date can be provided yet.
3. Multiple Zones for a Single Mysa Unit
A Mysa thermostat can only be assigned to one zone at a time. If you wish to move a Mysa unit to a different zone, it must first be removed from its current zone before it can be added to another.
4. How many Zones can I have?
While there's no set limit on the number of zones you can create, we advise against adding too many units to a single zone. Overloading a zone can result in delayed commands or difficulties in sending commands to all units within the group.
5. Manual commands
If you manually adjust one Mysa thermostat within a zone, the other thermostat will not automatically align with its setting. Each will be set to a different temperature, and the Mysa App will display these distinct temperature settings for each device.
6. Saved schedules
Saved schedules cannot be applied to a Zone.
