Welcome to Your Central HVAC Display & ControlUpdated 6 days ago
Welcome to your Mysa for Central HVAC!
Your Mysa for Central HVAC gives you fast, precise control and clear status at a glance — whether you’re adjusting temperature from the thermostat display or checking system status in the Mysa app.
This guide walks you through what each number and icon means, how to change your comfort settings, and what to do if something goes offline or a sensor alert appears.
What You’ll See at a Glance
Your Mysa for Central HVAC provides two main ways to view comfort and system status:
Thermostat Display – Your on-wall control showing live temperature and system indicators
Mysa App Tile – The mobile dashboard displaying real-time status, comfort, and connectivity

Changing Temperature & Set points on Thermostat
Adjusting Temperature
Tap the set point on your thermostat or in the app tile.
Tap Up or Down Arrow to change the value.
The new set point applies after 3 seconds or by tapping the middle of the thermostat.
Using Auto Mode (Dual Setpoints)
In Auto Mode, Mysa maintains both heating and cooling setpoints:
The heat setpoint triggers heating when the room drops below target.
The cool setpoint triggers cooling when the room rises above target.
Mysa maintains a 2–6 °C (4–10 °F) separation by default to prevent short cycling.
Changing Units (°C / °F)
To change display units:
From the Device:
Hold both the left-and-right arrows
Use the right arrow to navigate to the temperature selection (F/C)
Use the up-and-down arrows to set the temperature format
Tap the middle or wait 3 seconds for the change to apply
Tap the middle again to exit the PREF menu
From the App:
Select your Thermostat
Open the Thermostat Settings → Thermostat Preferences
Set the preferred temperature format
Modes & Fan Control
Your thermostat and app display only the modes and fan speeds supported by your system, so you’ll never see options that don’t apply.
System Modes
Mode | What It Controls | Typical Use |
Heat | Activates heating only. | Cold weather. |
Cool | Activates cooling only. | Warm weather. |
Auto | Automatically switches between heat and cool. | Year-round comfort. |
Emergency Heat | Uses backup/auxiliary heating only. | Heat pump backup mode. |
Off | Disables heating and cooling. | Energy saving or maintenance. |
Fan | Runs the fan without heating or cooling. | Air circulation or filtration. |
Fan Options
Mode/Settings | Behaviour | System Compatibility |
Fan Only Mode Select from thermostat or app control screen Mode Menu | Fan is on continuously circulating air around the space; no simultaneous heating or cooling; turn fan only mode off by selecting or scheduling another mode. | Conventional Systems with Thermostat Fan Control (G-Wire) Multi-fan speed HVAC system types (G1, +/-G2, G3 wires) |
Fan Speed Select from app control screen Fan Speed Menu | Select between:
| Multi-fan speed HVAC system types (G1, G2, G3 wires) only |
Fan Runtime Feature Enable and control via Device Settings > Thermostat Preferences | User can define the period of time in number of minutes per hour the fan should circulate air; heating and cooling CAN run simultaneously and are factored into total runtime. Fan runtime also applies when the thermostat is set to OFF mode. | Conventional Systems with Thermostat Fan Control (G-Wire) Multi-fan speed HVAC system types (G1, G2, G3 wires) |
Offline Behavior
If your thermostat goes offline, Mysa for Central HVAC will continue safe local operation.
How to Recover
Check system power: Verify furnace breaker and door interlock are closed.
Reopen the Mysa app: Tap Refresh to reconnect.
If still offline, see Installation Troubleshooting or re-pair your thermostat.
Why this matters: You’ll always know what’s happening — even offline, your Mysa continues managing comfort safely.
