Understanding Your Mysa AC Settings
Modes
The following is a list of the maximum options the Mysa AC can possibly support at this time depending on the code used for pairing.
Fan: Auto, Sleep, and from 3 to 5 speeds depending on the codeset
Vertical Swing: Auto, Off, and up to 7 fixed positions depending on the codeset
Horizontal Swing: Auto, Off, and up to 7 fixed positions depending on the codeset
Modes: Cool, Heat, Auto (Mysa version), Dry, Fan Only
At this time Mysa does not support temperatures below 16°C (61°F)
Setpoint Range: 16-30°C (61°F - 86°F)
Please be aware that, at the moment, we're unable to offer additional options beyond what's listed above. If you notice options listed above that are available on your AC unit but not in the code set, it's possible that our third-party provider hasn't created a duplicate of your remote. However, we have identified the closest alternative match.
Dry Mode
Dry Mode on Mysa offers a versatile way to manage humidity in your home, and with recent updates, it provides even greater flexibility. On select systems with updated codesets, you can now adjust the temperature while in Dry Mode, allowing for a more personalized experience during humid days. This means you can fine-tune the environment to your liking, combining effective humidity control with your preferred temperature settings.
For systems that haven’t yet received this update, Dry Mode will continue to operate within a preset temperature range of 18–20°C (64–68°F). This range is designed to maintain a consistent and comfortable atmosphere while still focusing on reducing excess humidity.
It’s also important to note that the effectiveness of Dry Mode in managing humidity depends on the design and efficiency of your mini-split unit. Mysa works alongside your system to optimize performance, ensuring a balanced and pleasant indoor climate.
Auto Mode
Auto Mode on Mysa is designed to automatically switch your mini-split system between Heat and Cool modes, depending on the room's temperature relative to your target temperature. This means that if the room gets too warm, Mysa will shift the system to Cool Mode, and if it gets too cold, it will switch to Heat Mode. This ensures that your space remains comfortable without the need for manual adjustments. However, Auto Mode only manages the mode (Heat or Cool) and does not control the fan speed directly.
Auto Fan
The Auto Fan setting, on the other hand, activates the Auto Fan function of your mini-split system. In this mode, the fan speed is determined by the mini-split itself based on its internal programming. For instance, if there is a significant difference between the current temperature and the target temperature, the mini-split might increase the fan speed to High to cool or heat the room more quickly. As the temperature nears the target, the fan speed might automatically lower to maintain comfort.
Other Options
Due to the configuration of certain AC remote codesets, a single codeset might be applied to various models within the same AC brand, encompassing all features of the highest-end model. Because of this, you might encounter settings that surpass the capabilities of your specific AC unit. Should you wish to hide these additional options, we recommend the following steps.
Test the commands on the Mysa’s control screen and note the ones that do not work.
Open the Mysa AC’s “Settings” screen by tapping the cog icon in the top right.
Open the “Available AC Controls” screen
Tap the chips associated with the options you wish to hide.
