How do I create and manage shortcuts?
Are you headed out for a specific period? Maybe a work trip or just that much-needed vacation? Why not have your thermostat help you save, and come home to a lovely comfy house! With timed shortcuts, you can!
Before you can fully utilize this feature, you will need to setup your shortcuts first!
Mysa has three Shortcuts:
- Home
- Away
- Vacation
Creating and Deleting a Shortcut
Adding a Shortcut
- Open Navigation Menu: Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the Mysa App screen.
- Manage Mysa Homes: Select "Manage Mysa Homes" and choose the relevant home if you have multiple.
- Manage Shortcuts: Tap "Manage Shortcuts" and choose the shortcut type you wish to add.
- Add Shortcut Command: Tap the "+" icon to begin creating your shortcut.
- Configure Shortcut:
- Action: Decide what you want the shortcut to do, such as follow a schedule, hold a temperature, or adjust baseboard mode.
- Setpoint Temperature: Choose the temperature you desire for the shortcut's action.
- Duration: For holds, select how long the temperature should be maintained.
Deleting a Shortcut
- Access Navigation Menu: Use the menu in the top left corner.
- Select Manage Mysa Homes: Choose your home if managing multiple locations.
- Shortcut Management: Tap "Manage Shortcuts" and select the shortcut you intend to remove.
- Delete Command: Use the three dots for more options and select "Delete Command(s)".
Setting Up Away, Vacation, or Timed Shortcuts
- Navigate to Shortcuts: Go to your home's shortcut settings in the app.
- Create Time-Based Shortcut: Specify the action (e.g., hold), the temperature, and the duration or select "Decide when Applying" to set it later.
- Manual Implementation: For immediate use, tap the three dots in the app's top right, choose your shortcut, and set the date/time via the popup menu.
Activate from Geofencing: In the geofencing section, automate your shortcuts to adjust your home's temperature based on your location, enhancing savings without manual intervention.
