1. How accurate are Mysa’s alerts, and how often do they update?

Mysa’s alerts are highly accurate and update frequently. Notifications are sent within 5 minutes of reaching your set threshold. The system increases communication with the app as the environment approaches your specified limits.

2. Will I receive notifications even if I’m not actively using the app?

Yes! You’ll receive alerts in your phone’s Notifications area whether or not the app is open.

3. Can I share alerts with other users?

Currently, only the primary homeowner receives alerts. Sharing alerts with additional users isn’t supported at this time.

4. Where does Mysa get the temperature data for alerts?

Alerts use ambient temperature readings from the Mysa devices you choose. You can select which thermostats to monitor for each alert type.

5. Do floor sensors work with Home Environment Alerts?

No. Floor sensors on In-Floor Mysa devices aren’t compatible with Home Environment Alerts, which rely on ambient temperature sensors.

6. Can I snooze or mute alerts?

Yes! You can snooze, mute, or turn off alerts from the Smart Alerts page in the Mysa app. Also, check your phone’s notification settings to ensure alerts aren’t accidentally silenced.

7. Does the app recommend actions when an alert is triggered?

No. The app doesn’t currently provide action recommendations when you receive an alert.

8. How often will I get notifications?

Mysa sends one notification per thermostat per alert event. If you’re getting alerts too often, you can adjust the threshold settings.

9. Can I set alerts for multiple homes?

Yes! You can set alerts for any home where you’re listed as the primary owner. Alerts are applied at the home level.

10. Can I view historical temperature and humidity data?

Yes! Use the energy charts in the Mysa app to view past temperature and humidity trends.

11. Which Mysa thermostats support Home Environment Alerts?

Alerts are compatible with:

  • Mysa for Baseboard (V1/V2)

  • Mysa for AC

  • Mysa for In-Floor

12. What app and firmware versions do I need?

You’ll need at least:

  • App Version 3.41

  • Firmware Version 3.14

13. What types of alerts can I set?

You can set alerts for:

  • High Temperature

  • Low Temperature

  • High Humidity

  • Low Humidity

14. Will alerts show up on all my devices?

Yes! You’ll receive alerts on all smart devices linked to your Mysa account.

15. Can I set alerts for specific rooms?

You can choose which thermostats to monitor, but alert values are the same across all selected devices.

16. Can I customize alert values?

Yes! You can customize thresholds within these ranges:

  • High Temperature: 16°C – 40°C

  • Low Temperature: 1°C – 15°C

  • High Humidity: 5% – 95%

  • Low Humidity: 5% – 95%

👉 If both low and high humidity alerts are enabled, set them at least 5% apart.

17. Does this feature cost extra?

No! Home Environment Alerts are included for free with all Mysa products.

18. Are there any alert limitations?

Each alert type can only have one threshold value, but it applies across all the thermostats you’ve selected for monitoring.
