BrightnessUpdated 7 months ago

Mysa thermostats offer versatile brightness settings to enhance user experience and visibility. You can adjust the display brightness based on your preferences and the surrounding environment.

The brightness settings include inactive (sleep) brightness and active (wake) brightness.

Additionally, for Mysa V2 users, advanced features like Adaptive Brightness and Proximity Sense provide automatic adjustments for optimal display visibility.

For all our Mysa products (Lite, V2,  In-floor and Mysa AC) you can:

1. Adjust the Display Brightness of Your Mysa Thermostat

  1. Select the Thermostat: Choose the thermostat you wish to adjust.
  2. Navigate to Settings: Tap the settings icon in the top right corner.
  3. Adjust Brightness: Scroll to "Thermostat Display." Use the left slider for inactive (sleep) brightness and the right slider for active (wake) brightness.

At 0%, the display is completely off. You can't see the ambient temperature or the arrows on the faceplate.

It is not recommended to have both sleep mode (inactive) and wake mode (active) at 0%, as it will not be possible to see the arrows and ambient temperature on the thermostat when you touch it to wake it up.

For Mysa V2 only:

2. Adaptive Brightness and Proximity Sense (Mysa V2 only)

  • Auto Brightness: The Ambient Light Sensor adjusts the display brightness by 20% based on room lighting.
  • Proximity Sense: The Proximity Sensor increases the display brightness when your hand approaches the thermostat.

It is not recommended to have both sleep mode (inactive) and wake mode (active) at 0%, as it will not be possible to see the arrows and ambient temperature on the thermostat when you touch it to wake it up.
