Adjusting Display Brightness on Your Mysa Thermostat

Mysa thermostats offer customizable brightness settings to suit your preferences and lighting conditions. You can control both the inactive (sleep) and active (wake) display brightness levels.

These settings are available for all Mysa thermostats: Baseboard Lite, Baseboard V1 & V2, In-Floor, and AC.

1. How to Adjust the Display Brightness

You can manually adjust the display brightness using the Mysa app:

  1. Select Your Thermostat
Open the Mysa app and choose the thermostat you'd like to update.

  2. Go to Settings
Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Adjust Brightness Levels
    Scroll to Thermostat Display.

    • Use the left slider to set the inactive (sleep) brightness.

    • Use the right slider to set the active (wake) brightness.

⚠ Setting brightness to 0% will turn the display off completely. You won't be able to see the ambient temperature or on-screen arrows.

We do not recommend setting both sleep and wake brightness to 0%, as this makes it difficult to interact with the thermostat—even when touched.

2. Extra Features for Mysa V2 Users

If you're using a Mysa for Baseboard V2, you have access to additional display features:

Adaptive Brightness

The built-in Ambient Light Sensor automatically adjusts your display’s brightness by 20% based on the room’s lighting conditions.

Proximity Sense

When your hand approaches the thermostat, the Proximity Sensor increases the display brightness for better visibility.
