Energy Charting — Mysa for In-Floor Heating

Mysa tracks your floor heating runtime and estimates energy costs, helping you understand your usage patterns and save energy.

What Energy Charts Show

| Metric | Description |

| Runtime | How long your heating system ran |

| Energy cost | Estimated cost based on your electricity rate |

| Temperature history | Room temperature over time |

| Humidity history | Humidity levels over time |

Viewing Energy Charts

1. Open the Mysa app
2. Tap the In-Floor thermostat
3. Tap Energy
4. Select a time period (day, week, month)

Setting Your Electricity Rate

For accurate cost estimates, set your local electricity rate:

1. Open the Mysa app
2. Tap the menu (three lines, top left)
3. Tap Settings
4. Tap Electricity Rate
5. Enter your rate per kWh
6. Tap Save

Tip Check your electricity bill for your rate per kWh. Some utilities have time-of-use rates—use an average or set the rate you pay most often.

Understanding Your Usage

High runtime periods often indicate:

• Very cold outdoor temperatures
• Large temperature setbacks in your schedule
• Doors or windows left open
• Poor insulation

Reducing energy use:

• Use moderate setbacks (2–3°C) instead of large drops
• Ensure your schedule matches your actual routine
• Check Smart Limit Protection settings to avoid overheating floors

Data Availability

Energy data is stored for 30 days of daily data and 12 months of monthly summaries.
