Device Settings

Device Settings let you customize how your Mysa Smart Thermostat looks, behaves, and interacts with your HVAC system.

To access Device Settings, tap a thermostat from your home screen, then tap the Settings icon (bottom right).

Thermostat Info

View and edit basic device information:

  • Mysa Name — Rename your thermostat

  • Home Assignment — Move to a different Home

  • Timezone — Update for correct schedule timing

  • Serial Number, MAC Address, Model, Device Version — Reference info for support

Thermostat Display

Control the display and physical buttons:

  • Brightness Settings — Sleep and wake brightness levels

  • Adaptive Brightness — Auto-adjust based on room lighting

  • Wake on Approach — Display wakes when you approach

  • Button Lock — Prevent changes from the device

Thermostat Preferences

Customize thermostat behavior:

  • Auto Mode — Auto-switch between heating and cooling

  • Filter Change Reminder — Set cleaning reminders

  • Hardware Setpoint Limits — Min/max temperature from the device

  • Temperature Format — Celsius or Fahrenheit

Thermostat Configuration

Configure how your thermostat works with your HVAC system:

  • HVAC Configuration Code — System wiring configuration

  • Freeze Protection — Auto-heat when temps drop below 7°C (45°F)

  • Staged Auxiliary Heat — Automatic aux engagement

  • Advanced Configuration — Fan control requirements

  • Minimum Fan Runtime — Periodic fan circulation
