Configuring Home, Away, and Vacation

Set up each shortcut so it applies the temperature and hold behavior you want across the thermostats in a Home.

How to configure a shortcut

  1. Open the Mysa app

  2. Open Shortcuts from the menu, or open Manage Homes and then Shortcuts

  3. Tap the shortcut you want to configure: Home, Away, or Vacation

  4. Choose which thermostats to include

  5. Set the desired temperature for each thermostat (and mode/fan where supported)

  6. Choose the hold behavior if available

  7. Tap Save

Tips

  • Home, Away, and Vacation are the built-in shortcut types

  • Configure each Home separately if you use Multi-Home

  • A useful Away setback for many homes is about 7°C (12°F) from your comfort temperature; adjust to what works for you
