Cost Estimate Looks Wrong

The in-app cost is an estimate from your electricity rate, not a copy of the utility bill.

1. Set the rate in Manage Homes > Home > Electricity Rate, or in thermostat settings on some baseboard models

2. Use the rate from your bill ($/kWh). For tiered or time-of-use plans, enter an average or the rate you pay most often

3. The estimate will not match the bill exactly if rates change by hour or if the thermostat tracks runtime instead of kWh

For billed dollars, use the utility statement. Mini-split Insights never measure consumption.
