Your Mysa for Baseboards comes with everything you need for installation. This guide covers what's included and tools you'll need.
Included in Every Box

Note Use the wire nuts included with Mysa — do not reuse existing wire nuts from your old thermostat.
Box contents are the same for Mysa for Baseboards - V2 and Mysa LITE for Baseboards.
Connectivity
Mysa for Baseboards connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network — no hub required. Download the free Mysa app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to control your thermostat from anywhere. A Mysa account is required.
All versions work with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa.
Tools You'll Need
Required:
- Medium Phillips screwdriver
- Voltage tester (to confirm power is off)
Recommended:
- Small Phillips screwdriver
- Wire strippers
- Pliers
- Smartphone with the Mysa app
Before You Start
Warning Mysa for Baseboards connects to high-voltage (120/240V) wiring. Always turn off power at the breaker before installation.
Confirm compatibility:
- You have an existing wall thermostat (not a dial on the heater itself)
- Your gang box has 4+ wires (two bundles — check for tucked wires if you only see 2)
Then:
- Turn off power at the breaker
- Use a voltage tester to confirm power is off
- Take a photo of your existing thermostat wiring
- Note your heater's voltage and wattage (found on the rating plate)
Check local building codes — some regions require a licensed electrician for line-voltage thermostat installation.
