Smart Alerts

Smart Alerts notify you about conditions that need attention — temperature extremes, humidity levels, and filter cleaning reminders.

Note: Only the primary account holder receives Smart Alerts. Shared users cannot receive alerts.

Available Alerts

Temperature Alerts

Get notified when room temperature goes above or below your thresholds. Useful for monitoring vacation homes, protecting pipes from freezing, or ensuring comfortable conditions for pets.

High temperature alert — Warns you when temperature rises above your set level.

Low temperature alert — Warns you when temperature drops below your set level.

Humidity Alerts

Mysa monitors room humidity using its built-in sensor (±2% accuracy). Get notified when humidity goes above or below your thresholds.

High humidity alert — Warns you when humidity rises above your set level. High humidity can cause discomfort and mold growth.

Low humidity alert — Warns you when humidity drops below your set level. Low humidity can cause dry skin and respiratory discomfort.

Filter Cleaning Reminder

Set a reminder to clean or replace your mini-split's filter. Regular filter maintenance improves efficiency and air quality.

Setting Up Alerts

1. Open the Mysa app
2. Tap your thermostat
3. Tap Settings (gear icon)
4. Tap Smart Alerts
5. Enable the alerts you want
6. Set your thresholds

Humidity Alert Settings

• High humidity threshold: Default 60%, adjustable
• Low humidity threshold: Default 30%, adjustable

Filter Reminder Settings

• Reminder interval: Set how often you want to be reminded (e.g., every 30 days, 60 days, 90 days)
• Reset: Tap "Reset" after cleaning the filter to restart the countdown

Viewing Alerts

When an alert triggers:

• You receive a push notification (no email or SMS available)
• The alert appears in the app's notification center
• The thermostat detail screen shows the alert

Dismissing Alerts

Tap the alert notification to view details, then dismiss it. For filter reminders, tap "Reset" after completing the maintenance.

Tips

Humidity thresholds vary by climate — In humid climates, you might set the high threshold to 65%. In dry climates, focus on the low threshold.

Filter maintenance saves energy — A dirty filter makes your unit work harder. Clean filters improve efficiency and extend equipment life.

Check humidity trends — If you're getting frequent high humidity alerts, consider running Dry mode more often.
